What is Wifi?
Wifi is wireless internet. Wireless internet makes use of the standard WiFi (Wireless Fidelity) technology, also called WLAN. This technology makes it possible to transport data traffic with speeds of 11 Mbps through radio waves from a transmission station to a receiver with a wireless (WiFi) card. WiFi cards can be easily inserted into a laptop and new computer models are often standardly equipped with a WiFi receiver.
